Apple applies for trademark protection on gaming devices!

We're gonna not read too much into this just yet, but if everyone's favourite fruit-flavored consumer electronics company files for protection of its mark, as they relate to a wide range of gaming devices, good, we feel you know . The USPTO sniffer dogs on Trademork only in the minds of us has, until recently, on this application from Cupertino, the requests protection of the word "Apple" for products that are classified as "toys, games and toys, namely the hand-held units for playing electronic games; hand-held units for playing video games; stand-alone video game machines, electronic games, which are designed for use with TV receivers only, LCD game machines, electronic learning game machines, toys , battery-powered computer games. "And if you think about it, we see Apple file for a patent video game not too long ago, who knows: perhaps the iPod, iPhone, Apple TV and soon more friends among the ever-expanding Non -- PC ecosystem. Then again, we have heard this rumour in one form or another many times before, and right now the pining for a resurrected Gizmondo already give us enough headaches.
