Microsoft and HP help Disney brings back the House of the Future...
The Disney parks have been receiving all types of updates in recent times, and the last is the revival of the "House of the Future," which originally opened in 50 years and presented such household space age technology as microwave ovens and plastic furniture. The new attraction avoids the original form from the outside, you see above, for a more classic look, but it is located inside of the action: Disney, Microsoft, HP and spent more than LifeWare $ 15 million on hardware and software designed to give visitors a glimpse of a hyper-connected future. Tech presentations will include home automation, automatic networking, and touch surfaces-based computers, and intelligent devices - all things that designers consider to be five to 10 years. The new House of the Future is set to open in May in Tommorrowland - any guesses how long it takes before someone built a replica complete?
